How do I Apply?
Requirements:
APPLICATION PROCESS - Students
- All students interested in Project CHILE should send completed application package
directly to Traci Thompson.
- The Project CHILE application package is due by June 20, 2000.
- Only WSU students are eligible.
- Students can obtain the application forms from this web site
or contact Traci Thompson via e-mail or by
phone at (937) 775-2814.
- For application deadlines please check time-table.
Application Prerequisites:
- Two Years of College Level Spanish or equivalent completed before expatriation.
Average GPA of Spanish courseware must be 3.0 or better.
- Degree Seeking Student.
- Minimum grade point average of 2.7 on a 4 point scale.
- Prior work experience in any area.
- Current resume in English and Spanish.
- Agree to develop a pre-departure preparation plan of study if necessary.
- Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students.
- If not already at WSU student willing to become a degree seeking student.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business or related major - all majors are encouraged to apply.
- Prior Work Experience.
- Overseas Experience.
A current resume in English and Spanish with three references is required. The
resume in Spanish is requested to assist the host companies in evaluating applicants.
All applications will be forwarded to a review committee for approval. After
being reviewed final candidates will be contacted for a telephone interview. Once
the interview process has been completed a student is then considered pre-qualified.
Pre-qualified candidate resumes will be forwarded to Chile for review by
potential internship companies.
