"Project Chile provides an excellent opportunity to learn Spanish and to become familiar with Latin American culture.  In today’s globalized economy it is vital to be attune to cultural differences in negotiations and dealings with foreigners.  Nothing can make you more sensitive to these differences like first-hand experience.

The time spent in Santiago allows for an easy cultural adjustment.  The city itself does not differ too greatly from what one would find in a big city in the States, except the people are nicer and more accepting of foreigners.  Temuco and the surrounding region offers some of the best scenery in the country.  Learning the work environment, and how every day business is conducted, gives a better understanding of Chilean life.  Project Chile combines study abroad with work experience, making it an ideal program for anyone interested in business."
